Our 10-mile rides each Monday night throughout the warmer months attract hundreds of riders of diverse backgrounds and experience levels. We’re fully supported by Slow Roll’s one and only Squad: a crack unit of yellow-shirted volunteers who keep the ride safe and running smoothly each week.

Buckeye Book Fair

From Bestsellers to Breakouts: Discover Today’s Most Talked-About Voices

The Buckeye Book Fair is unlike any other literary festival! It’s a place where the most impressive authors and illustrators from Ohio stand shoulder-to-shoulder with today’s trending names, all eager to meet you. For 38 years, this beloved event has sparked a passion for reading and created unforgettable moments between readers and the storytellers they admire.

On Saturday, November 7th, 2026, the Greystone Event Center in Wooster will transform into a one-of-a-kind gathering where New York Times bestselling illustrators like Richard Cowdrey and acclaimed authors such as Loren Long, Amanda Flower, Patrick Ryan and so many others come together under one roof. It’s rare to find so much talent—spanning children’s stories, young adult adventures, and thought-provoking nonfiction—accessible in such a personal, face-to-face way.

The Buckeye Book Fair is more than a marketplace for books; it’s a chance to connect, to be inspired, and to share in Ohio’s literary heartbeat. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary celebration of stories and the people who bring them to life. This is not just Ohio’s literary tradition, it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after the fair.

We are proud recipients of Ohio Arts Council sustainability funding.

NAACP presents: ACE Your Health

Hey, let’s talk straight from the heart.

Heart disease is more than a health issue—it’s a matter of justice. Ready to make a difference? Join us Thursday, August 7, at the Jerry Sue Thornton Center for the ACE Your Health: Heart and Soul Forum. Enjoy free health screenings, insights from community leaders, and real conversations about creating a healthier, stronger Cleveland.

The ACE Your Health initiative is supported by a collaboration between the NAACP and Sanofi to understand the resources available in communities that help people lead their healthiest lives. We want to identify the strengths and gaps in areas such as access to healthy food, quality healthcare, housing, transportation, and green spaces.
